Many plastic recyclers will only deal with a small range of the hundreds of different plastic types that exist in the market today. We do not have these kind of limitations. There are certain plastic types which are more attractive to us commercially for plastic recycling because they are more widely recycled but we will endeavour to find a home for any plastics that you have available for sale or disposal. At Global Environmental Services we work in partnership with our Associates to facilitate plastic recycling throughout the country. The extent of this UK partner network means that we have the infrastructure to purchase a far broader range of plastics than that offered by many of our competitors. Besides accepting many different grades of plastic, we can receive them in various forms, including original scrap or waste plastics processed into shred, regrind granulates or pellet compound. Whatever type of plastic you need to recycle, we can help. If you are unsure of what type of plastics you have, our customer service team will be able to identify them through photographs or samples.
We Purchase Post-industrial Plastic only
Global Environmental Services are experienced in collecting and recycling waste plastics from various commercial and industrial sources. Post-industrial plastics may include rejects, over-runs, off-cuts and extrusion scrap. Because we work in partnership with many Recycling Associates, processing usually takes place locally in the UK, to reduce our carbon footprint, keep costs to a minimum and to enable us to ensure quality control. A combination of leading-edge technology and established processes are employed to ensure your plastics are efficiently sorted, washed, dried, reduced and compounded; so that purity and quality is assured.
Our Commitment to Quality
Global Environmental Services always strives to supply the highest quality raw materials to both our customers and our Recycling Associates, combining maximum recycling rates with minimum waste levels. This is achieved through requesting that waste plastics we collect from customers be of the same type and from the same source or process. We can recycle mixed loads if necessary but please note that their value and the amount we pay you will be diminished. Similarly, any load that is found to be contaminated by other materials e.g. wood, metal, glass or foam, will likewise command a lower price..
What Can We Expect to be Paid?
Global Environmental Services enjoys a high volume of repeat business because we always do our best to pay a fair market price for plastic scrap. As with most recycled commodities, there are several factors that influence price:
